HFG is a fee-only firm that provides professional investment management, comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services.  Our offices are located in Wimberley, Texas. Scott G. Hackett Scott is a registered investment advisor, financial planner and an independent insurance agent.  He is the founder and owner of the Hackett Financial Group, LLC, (HFG) an independent fee only Registered Investment Advisory firm.  Scott is also currently serving as the president of the Wimberley Business & Professional Association (www.wimberleybpa.com ) and as an Ambassador for the Wimberley Chamber of Commerce ( www.wimberley.org ). Scott graduated from the University of Texas in 1996, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. Scott  completed his graduate coursework in personal financial planning at Saint Edwards University in Austin. Scott is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA). Prior to founding the Hackett Financial Group, LLC, Scott was the director of membership operations and health information technology at the Texas Medical Association in Austin. Scott and his wife Jo lived and worked in Austin for over thirty years before moving their family to Wimberley in 2006. They are the proud parents of three children. Wesley earned his bachelor of science degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and is currently working for Dell. Courtney earned her accounting degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio in May and is currently exploring career options. Cody completed his first year at the University of Texas at San Antonio in May and is currently working as an apprentice electrician for Olson Electric in Wimberley.
