Scott G. Hackett
Scott Hackett is an investment advisor with over ten years experience in the financial services industry. He is the founder of Hackett Financial Group, LLC, (HFG) an independent fee only Registered Investment Advisor firm. HFG has custodial agreements with Charles Schwab Institutional and Scottrade Advisor Services.
Scott graduated from the University of Texas in 1996, earning a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance. Scott is continuing his education at Saint Edwards University in Austin, working toward a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a Personal Financial Planning concentration. Scott is a member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Prior to founding the Hackett Financial Group, LLC, Scott was the director of membership operations and health information technology at the Texas Medical Association in Austin.
Scott and his wife Jo lived and worked in Austin for over thirty years before moving their family to Wimberley. They are the proud parents of three children. Wesley is attending the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in economics; Courtney is majoring in accounting at the University of Texas at San Antonio; and Cody is enjoying soccer, golf and student life at Wimberley High School.
